The staff were friendly and well informed and seemed happy to assist us with questions about how to get where we were going. They had good suggestions about what to do in our short visit to Bergen. The breakfast buffet was very good. The room was clean and comfortable. We had one of the corner rooms with a view of the city and a peek at the bay. It was lovely. In the hotel information book there was an advertisement for a laundry. We went there, having already traveled for a week, the price and service was excellent.

The dinner in the restaurant was not the best. Everything tasted very greasy. I kept hoping for some light refreshing meal and didn't find it at the hotel. I keep forgetting that the booking price is for ONE traveler and was supprised to be paying twice what I'd thought was going to be a great deal for two of us to stay. The luggage room was a little small and we had to move quite a lot of other peoples luggage to retrieve ours.
